Doula Certification

I have completed a rigorous training program and received certification from Doulas of North America (DONA), the premier doula-certifying organization. You can learn more about DONA on their website: www.dona.org

I've assisted at over 250 births in hospitals, birth centers, and homes. My clients have provided some kind testimonials from their birth experiences, which you can read on my testimonials page.

About me

I'm a DONA-certified doula practicing in the Northern Virginia/Shenandoah area. I am also a very blessed wife, mom of 11, and grandma of 11.

I loved birthing my own children, and since they were small I have had an interest in caring for moms and babies. I am continually amazed at God's wisdom and love demonstrated in His design of childbearing.

My other interests include (but are not limited to!) gardening, sewing, permaculture, and Scottish country dancing.
